Academic Programs

Hind Institute of Medical Sciences offers both undergraduate and postgraduate medical programs. These programs are designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and values required to excel in the healthcare industry.

Undergraduate Program (MBBS)

The MBBS program is the flagship course at HIMS. It is a 5.5-year program that includes a one-year internship. The curriculum is in line with the guidelines set by the Medical Council of India (MCI), ensuring that students are trained to meet national standards.

The MBBS program is divided into three phases:

1. Phase I (1.5 Years): The first phase focuses on building a solid foundation in basic medical sciences. Subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry are taught, helping students understand the structure and functioning of the human body.

2. Phase II (2 Years): In the second phase, students delve deeper into clinical subjects like Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, and Community Medicine. They also begin interacting with patients, learning to apply their theoretical knowledge in clinical settings.

3. Phase III (1 Year): The final phase of the MBBS program is a year-long internship that allows students to work in the hospital’s various departments. They get hands-on experience in patient care, diagnosis, and treatment under the supervision of faculty and senior doctors.

The program ensures that graduates are well-prepared to begin their careers as competent doctors, equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

Postgraduate Programs (MD/MS)

HIMS also offers Postgraduate (PG) programs in various medical specialties for students who wish to specialize after completing their MBBS. The PG programs offered at HIMS include:

• MD in General Medicine

• MD in Pediatrics

• MD in Anesthesia

• MS in General Surgery

• MS in Orthopedics

The postgraduate programs are designed to provide an in-depth understanding of a specific field of medicine, along with the clinical skills necessary to diagnose, treat, and manage medical conditions in that specialty. Admission Process

In order to pursue MBBS in Hind Institute of Medical Sciences , you must pass the NEET entrance exam.

The steps to be followed for Hind Institute Admission Process are as follows:
Step1 – Registration
Medical aspirantshall register on the official website of Uttar Pradesh DGME which is authorized to conduct UPNEET counselling at https://upneet.gov.in. Student need to register his details and pay the registration fees.

Step 2- Make a Security deposit
After completing the registration process for Hind Institute of Medical Sciences MBBS Admission, the next step has to pay the security deposit of INR 2,00,000 (2 Lakh).The student shall pay it online directly at upneet.gov.in website.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In Uttar Pradesh NEET Counselling there is NO refund of security deposit in case a college is allotted to a student. Students shall be very careful in their choices of medical colleges because in case they plan not to go ahead with the allotted college their security deposit of 2 Lakh will be defaulted.  

Step 3 – Verification of documents
Document verificationis conducted online in session 2023. Prior to 2023 document verification was conducted in an offline mode in the nodal centers. 

Step 4 –Choice filling and seat locking
Students have to choose and arrange the medical colleges in order of their preferences. They have to select Hind Institute of Medical Sciences at first place in their choice filling.Since there can be no additions once the selections have been made, it is important to check the details of the college and then make the final selection.

Step 5 – Reporting
After the declaration of the final result students have make the fee payment at the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) nidal centers and finally report to the college allotted.
